This page is for families to complete payment for participation in DePaul's THE WIZARD OF OZ with Greenlight Theatre Company. Tuition covers rehearsals, instruction in acting, singing, and movement, production costs, and participation in all scheduled performances.

 A FEW TIPS:

•  We totally understand that the word “audition” can feel a little daunting — that’s why we like to think of our meet and greet/audition more as a chance to get to know the students. It’s a very low-stress and casual environment, and truly just a way for us to see where each student might shine in the show. It’s absolutely a-okay if your performer doesn’t want to sing! We can easily ask them to tell a joke, chat with us a bit, or do something simple and fun so we can get a sense of their personality. No pressure at all — we just want them to feel comfortable and excited about being part of the experience! 

• We welcome all ages and abilities! Whether your performer has experience or it is their first time, they will learn fundamentals of acting, singing, dance while putting on a fully realized musical! 

• Every performer gets a role! We don’t “cut” anyone — our mission is to include everyone & give each student a meaningful place in the production.

• A "Welcome Email" will be sent out upon registration about two weeks before auditions. 

• This is a judgment-free, encouragement-rich zone. We’re here to build confidence, teamwork, and joy — not to critique or compete. Our staff is experienced, kind, and passionate about creating a safe space where kids can grow.
